How it Works

The BMR is then multiplied by an activity factor to estimate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), which accounts for the calories you burn through daily activities and exercise.

Activity Levels Explained
Sedentary (little or no exercise): Minimal physical activity throughout the day.
Lightly active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week): Occasional physical activity, such as light workouts or casual sports.
Moderately active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week): Regular physical activity, including moderate workouts or sports.
Very active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days a week): Intense physical activity, including daily workouts or competitive sports.
Super active (very hard exercise/sports & a physical job): High level of physical activity from both exercise and a physically demanding job.
